This essay aims to critically reflect and discuss the normative instruments related to the creation, implementation and dismantling of policies to support the work of teams in primary care, with emphasis on the policy of the Family Health Support Center (Nasf), correlating with local setbacks that occurred in a team already consolidated in the hinterland of Rio Grande do Norte. Through the analysis of documents and reflections of the local context object of this study, it was observed that the management dissolved the Nasf team without specific guidance, harming the interprofessional work and the principles that validate the promotion of health and the prevention of diseases and aggravated, in detriment to a greater focus on assistance actions. In the national scenario, the panorama of dismantling resulting from the absence of federal financial inducement for Nasf is translated from the reduction of municipalities that have this strategic device and the total number of teams. It is concluded that the setbacks in Nasf policy changed the organizational structure imposed by management, abandoning the logic of matrix support and prioritizing uniprofessional, isolated and purely assistance work, suppressing all the potential of the teams and a construction of values, actions and transformations of the interprofessional work, matrix support and expanded clinic.Downloads
