Abstract

Objective: to describe the construction of a technical production used as a Health Education tool and strategy to combat SARS-COV-2 home transmission. Method: This is an experience report regarding the construction of the technical production idealized during the authors' work in a service that performs COVID-19 Testing and Diagnosis in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The Technical production was used as an instrument to assist Health Education, with society about self-care and home care in the treatment and, above all, prevention of COVID-19. Results: The construction stages were: survey of the information recommended by the Ministry of Health, preparation of a digital poster with information about health and Covid-19, whose graphic design was outlined with the “Canva®” platform. The informative content was based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. The implementation phase involved dissemination in digital media, such as social networks and e-mail. In addition, the printed version strengthened the dissemination of the information. Conclusion: A wide range of information and care practices is expected to prevent home transmission by Covid-19. As well as a decrease in anxiety triggered by a positive diagnosis for the disease.
