The severe mental disorder in Family Health Strategy

Abstract

This article presents the experience report of a resident psychologist working in matrix support for a Family Health Team. Inspired by cartography and the user-guide method, care practices are developed to a person with severe mental disorder. This production elucidates the importance of listening, bonding and network care in mental health care, reveals the dispute between asylum and psychosocial models in health practices and points out the potential and difficulties of mental health care in Family Health Units.
