This study aimed to evaluate the perception of physiotherapists who participated in Matrix Support meetings, regarding coping with the possible complications and sequelae of COVID-19, besides that evaluated the importance of Matrix support for discussion of other important topics for clinical physiotherapeutic practice. An observational, descriptive, quantitative and qualitative study was carried out, with the participation of eleven physiotherapists from the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) who participated in the extension project entitled ''Matrix support between physiotherapists in the health care network in the fight against covid-19''. The extension project was carried out in the 2nd half of 2020 and the survey was carried out after the end of the meetings through the Google Forms® tool, based on an invitation made by email. Numerical data were recorded in Excel® spreadsheets. Open questions were analyzed using content analysis. Of the eleven survey participants, 81.8% (n=9) considered the proposal for the extension project related to coping with covid-19, as well as for clinical practice, to be “extremely relevant”. In addition, 100% (n=11) evaluate Matrix Support as an important health arrangement for permanent education among physiotherapists. In the qualitative analysis, reports on the importance of this space as an exchange of experiences/knowledge, information and professional training were frequent. In this way, it was possible to conclude that the Matrix Support proved to be an important tool for professional strengthening and continuing education for the physiotherapists of the Unified Health System who participated in this proposal.Downloads
