Abstract

Introduction: The multiprofessional residency programs in health stimulate competencies and skills for actions in health care, assistance, and management, while the physiotherapist possesses the competencies to contribute to the quality of care for the population using the unified health system. The objective of this article is to construct a collaborative teaching and assessment plan for pediatric intensive care physiotherapy residents. A methodological study divided into three stages: conceptual structure of the instrument, development of assessment domains and items, and structure and order of the instrument. Development: The learning plan was subdivided into four domains: 1. managerial competencies, 2. collaborative competencies, 3. essential competencies, and 4. entrustable Professional Activities. The first three will be assessed as yes, partially, and no. The last one will be assessed on a 5-level scale, with level 1 representing the lowest level of professional independence in care, up to level 5, in which the resident has full autonomy. Final considerations: The instrument aims to allow the resident to self-perceive their formative process, and provide the preceptor with a resource for pedagogical planning, reorienting the learning experiences.
