Abstract

Abstract: Objective: This present study aimed to analyze the necessity of improvements in registration, monitoring and assessment of Primary HealthCare e-SUS from the perspective of dentists in the Sanitary District I of Recife-PE. Methods: This is a study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through individual semi-structured interviews, carried out between July and August 2022, with eight dentists from oral health teams. The content analysis technique was used for data analysis. Results: It is noticed that the integration of information, through the e-SUS APS, facilitated the work process of dental surgeons, however, there is a need for training of health professionals and managers to plan activities based on the information produced, in addition to improving the software to include specificities of oral health. Conclusions: The e-SUS brought improvements in the quality and consistency of the information produced by dentists, but it has several aspects that need to be improved.
