Abstract: The increase of children and adolescents living on the streets is growing. Objective: to investigate the extent, scope and nature of studies with street children and adolescents in Brazil. Methodological path: scope review, which used the Scopus, Web of Science, VHL, PudMed and the Scielo indexer for queries. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta) guidelines were followed to systematize the process of inclusion of studies, as well as the acronym PCC (P= population; C= concept; C= context) for the guiding question. Results: most of the participants were black/black men; with a family situation of unemployment, headed by women; with low education and drug use. Discussions: intersectoriality is imperative for the engendering of new places to be occupied by this population, in addition to the street and social risk. The street is a place of passage, but also a territory of care for the people who remain in it.Downloads
