Abstract

The aim of this article is to report on the experience of a university extension activity involving conversation circles for civil servants at a public university on teleworking and health. A list of civil servants from different sectors of a public university campus who were teleworking (partially or totally) was obtained and then online meetings were held via Google Meet. A total of three meetings were held and 13 civil servants of both sexes took part, the majority of whom were female (61.5%) and partially teleworking (92.0%). The following stood out about teleworking: little social interaction, flexible working hours, improved quality of life, productivity and time savings. With regard to ergonomic risks, pain in the lower back related to the use of unsuitable chairs. Listening spaces are necessary for workers' health and should be encouraged within companies and institutions.
