COVID-19 AND MULTIPROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH FLU SYNDROME
EXPERIENCE REPORT OF MULTIPROFESSIONAL RESIDENTS IN PRIMARY CARE

Objective: to describe the experiences lived by residents of the Residency Program in Primary Care of the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, during the period of coping with the pandemic, in a Reference Center for COVID-19. Methods: This is an experience report, descriptive with a qualitative approach, based on the performance and actions carried out by residents, between May and July 2021, in the municipality of Caicó, Rio Grande do Norte. Results: during this period, the residents performed tests by RT-PCR, rapid tests and serology, in addition to the detection and monitoring of suspected/confirmed cases of the disease and, in addition, information, consultations and expressed results. Final considerations: This experience provided residents with the socialization of knowledge learned in this scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic, as propagating agents of information. In addition to enabling residents to act both in direct care and in the management of the activities of the health service in question.Downloads
