Abstract

The study aimed to problematize the care practices from the therapeutic itinerary of a child as a guide user. This is a qualitative research intervention that happened from April to December  2022 in a Family Health Strategy, where open individual and group interviews were conducted with users, health workers, and the school where the child studies, to understand the modes of care instituted in the municipal care network in the face of child psychological suffering. The content analysis was based on the hermeneutic reading of the narratives, intertwining them with the theoretical referential of Psychoanalysis. The use of the guide-user was evidenced as a powerful strategy of care and analysis of complex cases in the network, as well as the strengthening of intersectionality. In the work with childhood, the importance of the inter-human encounter in care is highlighted for the support of interventions based on listening to the singularity and subjectivity of children and families.  Keywords: Childhood; Mental Health; Intersectoral Collaboration; Psychoanalisis; Primary Health Care.
