The subject Integração-Ensino-Serviço-Comunidade III (IESC III), which takes part in Universidade do Grande Rio – Professor José de Souza Herdy (UNIGRANRIO-AFYA)’s curriculum is mandatory during Medicine graduation. Guided by the professors, the student must develop a Singular Therapeutic Project (STP) following the rules of the Family Health Team, by having the opportunity to know more about a family and to help it via this project. This article has as an objective to present the group experiences during the four months which the STP had been developed. For the students, the project previously mentioned has had a great importance to form new doctors, since the closer contact with the designated family, the familiarization with the Community Health Agent’s daily work routine and the project’s own success at its conclusion permitted the knowledge of completely different realities beyond the ones that are known to each member of the group.Downloads
