Health care in the Amazon has singularities, not only because of the diversity of its territory, but also because of the plurality of its people. In this sense, the aim of this study was to analyze the profile of users who access primary health care in the municipality of Manicoré, Amazonas, describing the socioeconomic and demographic factors of the municipality and the living conditions of this population. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with a qualitative-quantitative approach on the health profile and living conditions of the population living in the municipality of Manicoré who access primary care. Among the most relevant results it can be highlighted a high rate of teenage pregnancy, high number of pregnant women with prenatal consultations considered inadequate, high rate of cesarean deliveries, high number of notifications of infectious and parasitic diseases and the decrease in coverage of the Family Health Strategy. The analysis raised in this study was based on the data recorded in the information systems considering the epidemiological data, the coverage of the family health strategy teams as well as other records produced in the various gateways of the health network of the city of Manicoré and should be understood broadly aligned with the guidelines of the Programs and goals established by the Ministry of Health. In this sense, the role of social control in the discussions of priorities should be aligned with the main difficulties faced in the municipality and should be materialized in health plans.Downloads
